Job Title: L2 Security Infrastructure Engineer (Imperva DAM)

Experience Level: 3–6 Years

Note to Candidates: This position is exclusively open to Gentlemen only. Additionally, a mandatory minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Imperva DAM is strictly required for consideration.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced L2 Security Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on expertise in managing, administering, and supporting Imperva Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) infrastructure.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management, maintenance, troubleshooting, availability, and performance of the Imperva DAM platform. This encompasses the management of DAM appliances, gateways, agents, and database connectivity across complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will combine robust infrastructure troubleshooting capabilities with practical, specialized experience in Imperva DAM administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Infrastructure Administration: Manage and administer core Imperva DAM infrastructure components, including Management Servers (MX), gateways, and database monitoring agents.
- Lifecycle &
- Maintenance: Execute installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance of Imperva DAM appliances and software components.
- Platform Monitoring: Monitor overall platform health, availability, resource utilization, performance metrics, and agent connectivity to ensure seamless operations.
- Agent Deployment &
- Troubleshooting: Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Imperva DAM agents across diverse, supported database platforms.
- Connectivity &
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot communication channels and connectivity pathways between DAM components, database servers, and monitoring agents.
- Disaster Recovery &
- Backup: Perform routine health checks, configuration backups, system restorations,



and disaster recovery activities for the DAM infrastructure.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with database, Windows/Linux system administration, network, and core infrastructure teams to swiftly resolve platform-related challenges.
- Database Onboarding: Support the seamless onboarding and technical integration of enterprise databases into the Imperva DAM platform.
- ITSM Governance: Handle routine maintenance, incident management, problem management, and change management workflows in strict adherence to established SLAs.
- Security Policy Support: Assist with DAM policy configurations, alert tuning and troubleshooting, and downstream SIEM integration as required.

Required Qualifications &

- Skills

- Skilled Experience: 3 to 6 years of overall experience in IT infrastructure, security infrastructure, or database security operations.
- Imperva Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of dedicated, hands-on administration or infrastructure support experience specifically with Imperva DAM.
- Platform Proficiency: Practical experience managing Imperva DAM appliances, gateways, MX management servers, and database monitoring agents.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills spanning Linux and Windows operating systems, server environments, network connectivity, and database integrations.
- Database Familiarity: Working knowledge of major database environments, including Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Operational Competency: Proven knowledge of system backups, disaster recovery, software patching, platform upgrades, performance monitoring, and ITIL-based incident/change management processes.
- Foundational Security: Basic understanding of database security monitoring principles, DAM security policies, alert mechanisms, and SIEM integration.
