Role Overview:

The Junior Designer will support the design function by preparing accurate technical, manufacturing, and cutting drawings for production. Working closely with the Design Manager, this role ensures that all design outputs meet quality standards, align with project requirements, and are delivered on time to support smooth manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical & Manufacturing Drawings Prepare accurate technical drawings that clearly communicate dimensions, materials, and assembly details.
- Develop manufacturing drawings with all necessary specifications for production.
- Create cutting drawings and drilling drawing that optimize material usage and align with manufacturing capabilities.
- Design Accuracy & Quality Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and company quality guidelines.
- Check measurements, tolerances,



and material specifications for accuracy before release.
- Coordination & Support Coordinate with internal teams (design, production, procurement, and quality) to clarify design requirements.
- Update drawings when modifications are required due to design changes or feedback from production.
- Documentation & Filing Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and approvals for reference and future use.

Required Skills:

1. 2-5 years of experience in preparing technical drawings, preferably in the furniture or manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
3. Knowledge of materials, joinery, and manufacturing (cutting, routing, edge banding) processes (wooden furniture preferred).
4. Ability to follow instructions and work within established design guidelines.
