Job Summery: About the Role We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Junior Production Assistant to join our design and production team. The role will primarily focus on garment production, sample management, vendor coordination and production follow-ups, ensuring that every garment is tracked and executed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist in managing garments through sampling, alterations and production.
● Prepare and maintain production sheets, garment specifications and notes.
● Assist the designer with basic design development, sourcing and garment-related tasks where required.
● Coordinate with tailors, karigars, vendors and other production teams.
● Coordinate material sourcing, procurement and timely availability of production requirements.
● Follow up regularly on garment status, timelines and pending work.
● Maintain updated production trackers and garment records.
● Track samples, fittings, alterations and final deliveries.
● Maintain records of materials received, pending requirements and production quantities.
● Assist during shoots & fittings and accurately record required corrections.
● Coordinate final garment finishing, packing and dispatches.
● Maintain an organised record of approved samples, final measurements and production references. ● Help identify and communicate production delays, shortages or issues and follow up until they are resolved.
● Assist in planning and tracking production schedules and delivery deadlines.
● Maintain clear and regular communication with the team regarding production updates, pending tasks and timelines.
What We’re Looking For :
● Fashion Design / Apparel Design graduate
● 1-2 years of experience
● Extremely organised, responsible and detail-oriented
● Robust follow-up and coordination skills
● Basic understanding of garment construction, fabrics and production processes
● Comfortable working with tailors, vendors and production teams
● Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and documentation
● Ability to manage multiple garments and tasks simultaneously
● Proactive, hands-on and willing to take ownership
