Role Description This is a full-time, Junior Lighting Designer role based in Bengaluru.

The Junior Lighting

Designer will assist in developing lighting concepts for architectural and interior projects, working closely with senior designers and architects to translate design intent into effective lighting solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include producing lighting layouts and drawings, preparing fixture schedules, supporting lighting calculations, and contributing to presentations and design documentation. The role involves coordinating with project teams and consultants,



understanding project requirements and codes, and participating in site visits to review implementation and address design adjustments.

The Junior Lighting

Designer is expected to stay current with lighting technologies and best practices, contributing creative and practical ideas to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications

- Ability to apply core lighting principles, including Lighting, Lighting Design, and Architectural Lighting, to diverse project types.
- Skills in integrating lighting with Interior Design to support aesthetic, functional, and user-centric spaces.
- Understanding of Lighting Control systems and their application in energy-efficient, flexible, and programmable environments.
- Degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design, or a closely related field.
- 1–4 years of skilled experience in lighting design, with exposure to architectural projects.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux/Relux, Photoshop or similar) is required.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications, and willingness to learn from senior team members.
- Effective communication, collaboration skills, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary project environment.
