Junior Designer Intern – Interior Design

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Designer Intern to join our interior design team in Mumbai.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for students, fresh graduates, and aspiring interior designers to gain practical experience working on real residential and commercial interior projects.

The intern will work closely with senior designers and gain hands-on exposure to concept development, drawings, materials, 3D visualization, presentations, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior designers with interior design concepts and layouts.
- Prepare mood boards, material boards, and design presentations.
- Assist with furniture layouts, elevations, and basic working drawings.
- Support the team in preparing and modifying AutoCAD drawings.
- Assist with 3D modeling and visualization.
- Research materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and interior design trends.
- Assist with client presentations and design proposals.
- Coordinate with designers, site supervisors, contractors, and vendors.
- Participate in site visits and learn about interior project execution.
- Assist with measurements and basic site documentation.
- Maintain organized project drawings and design files.
- Support the design team with day-to-day project requirements.

Requirements





- Freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of experience are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD preferred.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D Max, Lumion, V-Ray, or other design software will be an advantage.
- Positive understanding of basic interior design principles.
- Creative mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced design environment.
- A portfolio of academic or personal design projects is preferred.
