Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Data Engineer. The person in this role will support the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, including extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes that feed Sisense-based analytics solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with data modeling, contributing to data warehousing structures, and ensuring data quality and consistency across multiple sources.

Engineer will collaborate with senior engineers, BI consultants, and analytics teams to prepare data for dashboards, reports, and AI-driven insights. Additional tasks may involve troubleshooting data issues, documenting data flows, and helping optimize performance for scalable analytics environments.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing to support the development of robust analytics infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling and Data Analytics to design productive data structures and interpret data for business insights.
- Candidates should possess skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes to build and maintain reliable data pipelines from diverse sources.
- Basic experience with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with BI tools and platforms (experience with Sisense or similar solutions is a plus).
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
