We’re Hiring - Junior Architect

That Design Studio is looking for a Junior Architect to join our growing team. We work across hospitality, commercial and residential projects , with a solid focus on spatial design, materiality, detailing and creating spaces with a distinct point of view.

As a Junior Architect, you’ll be involved in projects from concept development through execution , working closely with the design team and consultants to translate ideas into well-resolved spaces.

What you’ll be doing

- Developing architectural and interior design drawings from concept to execution
- Preparing detailed working drawings, plans, elevations, sections and construction details
- Working on furniture, joinery, material and lighting details
- Assisting with design development, presentations and documentation
- Coordinating with consultants, vendors and site teams
- Visiting sites and understanding how drawings translate into built spaces
- Researching materials, finishes, products and design references




- Supporting the team through different stages of a project, from initial ideas to execution

What we’re looking for
- 0–2 years of professional experience
- A degree in Architecture
- Strong understanding of architectural and interior detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Good visual and spatial sense
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and develop technical drawings
- Willingness to learn, take ownership and work collaboratively
- An interest in hospitality and interior design is preferred
