About the Role looking for a Junior Architect to support the architectural design, documentation and execution of real estate projects across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
The candidate will work closely with senior architects, consultants and project/site teams to develop architectural drawings, coordinate design requirements and ensure that drawings and execution are aligned with the approved design.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify architectural drawings, layouts and working drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist in design development, planning and preparation of architectural documentation.
- Prepare detailed drawings, elevations, sections and presentation drawings.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP and other project consultants.
- Coordinate with site/project teams to resolve design and drawing-related issues.
- Conduct site visits and verify site conditions against architectural drawings.
- Assist in preparation and coordination of drawings required for statutory approvals.
- Ensure drawings are accurate and updated as per project requirements and revisions.
- Assist senior architects in developing design concepts and project documentation.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions and project-related documents.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure execution is in line with approved drawings.
- Support multiple project activities while adhering to timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of SketchUp and architectural visualization.
- Understanding of architectural drawings, elevations, sections and working drawings.
- Basic understanding of GFC drawings and construction detailing.
- Knowledge of real estate development and construction processes.
- Understanding of Mumbai/MMR development regulations and approval processes would be an advantage.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work with architects, consultants and site teams.
Qualification
- B.Arch / Bachelor of Architecture from a recognized institution.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably with a real estate developer or architectural practice.
- Candidates with experience in residential/commercial real estate projects in Mumbai/MMR will be preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a technically sound architect with hands-on experience in AutoCAD, architectural drawings and site coordination, rather than someone focused only on conceptual design. The role requires someone comfortable working between the design office and project site. Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
