Junior Accountant – Optorium

Job Summary

Optorium is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling transactions, reconciliations, and supporting the accounts team with regular reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.
- Handle sales, purchase, receipts, payments, and expense entries.
- Perform bank and cash reconciliation regularly.
- Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Maintain branch-wise sales and expense records.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Coordinate with branches regarding billing, collections, expenses, and accounting discrepancies.
- Track outstanding payments and receivables.
- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Identify and report accounting discrepancies to the senior accounts team.




- Support audits and provide required documents when needed.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in B.Com, M.Com, or Accounting/Finance-related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of GST and TDS.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Retail or multi-branch accounting experience will be an added advantage.
