Role Description The Jr Interior Designer will support senior designers in developing and executing interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing mood boards, selecting materials and finishes, and contributing to FF&E; specifications and schedules.

The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, reviewing construction drawings, and conducting site visits to ensure design intent is maintained.

Designer will also help prepare presentations and documentation for client meetings and design approvals. This is a contract, on-site role based in Bengaluru South.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.
- Understanding of Architecture principles as they relate to interiors, including coordination with structural and MEP elements.
- Ability to read, draft, and revise Construction Drawings and detailed interior documentation.
- Knowledge of FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and scheduling.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office skills.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, project teams, and vendors.
- Interest in sustainable and holistic design practices and willingness to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary environment.
