Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Journalist role based in New Delhi. The Journalist will research, pitch, and develop news stories and features related to Indian tourism, business, culture, and international affairs, aligned with the editorial strategy of Media India Group’s multilingual magazines. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting interviews, verifying facts, writing explicit and engaging news articles, and crafting press releases when required.

The role also involves collaborating with editors and other journalists, attending press events and industry gatherings, and meeting regular publishing deadlines. The Journalist may contribute to multimedia content, including basic broadcasting or digital formats, to support the group’s global communication efforts.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Writing and News Writing skills to produce accurate, engaging,



and timely stories.
- Candidates should possess Research skills and the ability to conduct interviews, verify information, and gather data from diverse sources.
- Candidates should possess experience with Press Releases and a clear, concise communication style for media and corporate announcements.
- Candidates should possess foundational Broadcasting skills or familiarity with multimedia storytelling for digital and audio-visual platforms.
- Excellent command of English; additional proficiency in French, Spanish, or German is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong news judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
- Comfort working in a multicultural, international team and openness to covering global topics related to tourism and business.
- Basic digital skills, including familiarity with content management systems and social media, are beneficial.

Experience: 1-3 years

Location: DELHI

Working Days: Monday to Saturday, except the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays, as well as Sundays.

Salary: INR 2,40,000 – 4,20,000 per annum
