About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Jewellery Quality Control Inspector to oversee the quality inspection of our premium silver and gold jewellery, including gemstone- and diamond-set pieces.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong practical knowledge of jewellery manufacturing and a sharp eye for workmanship, stone setting, finishing, proportions and overall product quality.

The candidate will be responsible for both in-process and final quality inspections, working closely with production, setting, polishing and management teams to identify and resolve quality issues before products are approved for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect silver and gold jewellery at different stages of production and before final dispatch.
- Check workmanship, finishing, polishing, plating, stone setting, symmetry,



proportions and overall construction.
- Identify manufacturing defects, loose or incorrectly set stones, finishing issues and other quality concerns.
- Inspect jewellery against approved samples, designs, CADs, measurements and product specifications.
- Check gemstone and diamond setting for alignment, security, consistency and overall appearance.
- Coordinate with production, setting and polishing teams to identify and rectify quality issues.
- Conduct both in-process and final quality inspections before products are approved for dispatch.
- Maintain basic QC records and highlight recurring quality problems.
- Ensure premium and export orders meet the required quality standards.
- Communicate quality concerns clearly and work with relevant teams toward timely resolution.
- Support improvements in manufacturing and quality processes wherever recurring issues are identified.

Required Experience & Skills
- 4–10+ years of hands-on experience in jewellery manufacturing and/or quality control.
- Strong practical experience with gold and sterling silver jewellery.
- Positive knowledge of gemstone- and diamond-set jewellery.
- Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing, stone setting, polishing, finishing and plating.




- Excellent eye for detail and ability to identify even minor workmanship issues.
- Ability to understand jewellery designs, measurements, CADs and product specifications.
- Experience with premium or export-quality jewellery will be an advantage.
- Ability to independently assess quality and take responsibility for QC decisions.
- Good communication and coordination skills with production and internal teams.
- Ability to maintain clear and accurate QC observations and records.

The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone with genuine hands-on jewellery manufacturing experience, rather than a general QC professional from another industry.

You should be able to look at a finished piece and quickly assess whether the setting, finishing, proportions, construction and overall workmanship meet premium jewellery standards.

You should be comfortable identifying issues, communicating them clearly to the relevant teams and following through until the required quality standard is achieved.

Practical knowledge and experience will be valued more than formal qualifications.

Jewellery manufacturing experience is essential.

Qualification A degree or formal qualification is not mandatory. Relevant hands-on jewellery manufacturing experience, practical QC knowledge and a strong understanding of jewellery workmanship will be given greater importance.

Salary: Commensurate with experience and skill level.

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
