Role Overview: We are looking for Senior Java Developers to build secure, scalable and high-performing backend applications for a banking client. Candidates should be hands-on developers with strong coding skills and experience working on enterprise-scale microservices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
- Implement business logic using clean code, OOP principles and appropriate design patterns.
- Work with SQL databases, messaging systems and distributed application components.
- Develop unit and integration tests and participate in peer code reviews.
- Troubleshoot application, performance and production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with architects, frontend developers, QA and business teams throughout the SDLC.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of strong hands-on Java development experience.
- Strong Java 8/11/17+ and Spring Boot experience.
- Hands-on Microservices and REST API development.
- Solid understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, Collections and exception handling.
- Good SQL/database knowledge and experience with unit testing.
- Strong coding, debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Banking / Financial Services experience is preferred.
Good to Have: Python, GenAI, ML and Google ADK.
