Role Overview

We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric AI Implementation Engineer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric, Python, SQL and AI implementation. The role will focus on building scalable data solutions, AI-ready data models and Fabric-based AI use cases while enabling trusted business insights through Power BI and conversational analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Pipelines, Notebooks and Semantic Models.

Build AI-ready data models to support business KPIs, accurate insights and natural-language analytics.

Implement AI use cases using Fabric Data Agents and other Microsoft Fabric AI capabilities.

Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and semantic models for business reporting and decision-making.

Work with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical Fabric-based solutions.

Prepare and transform data for analytics and AI use cases using SQL and Python/PySpark.

Ensure appropriate data governance, access control and security practices across solutions.

Support POCs and MVPs for data and AI initiatives.

Troubleshoot data pipelines,



models and AI implementations and continuously improve solution performance.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.

Experience with Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Pipelines, Notebooks and Semantic Models.

Strong SQL skills.

Working knowledge of Python / PySpark.

Experience implementing AI use cases in Microsoft Fabric.

Knowledge of Fabric Data Agents and conversational analytics.

Understanding of data modeling, KPIs, business metrics and AI-ready data preparation.

Valuable understanding of Power BI and semantic modeling.

Good to Have

Real-time analytics and KQL databases in Microsoft Fabric.

Power BI, DAX and dashboard development.

Prompt Engineering and AI Agent concepts.

Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio or Azure AI services.

Microsoft Fabric Real-Time Streaming and Warehousing.

Experience building data/AI POCs and MVPs.

Exposure to Snowflake AI/ML.

Candidate Profile
