Role Description The IT Infrastructure with Linux role is a full time, remote position focused on maintaining and supporting core IT systems.

Responsibilities include managing Linux servers, monitoring system performance, and ensuring high availability of infrastructure services. The role involves performing regular maintenance, implementing security best practices, and assisting with network configuration and administration tasks. Daily activities also include troubleshooting issues, providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders, documenting processes,



and collaborating with other IT team members to improve reliability and scalability of systems.

Qualifications

- Strong Information Technology foundation, with hands-on experience in Linux-based infrastructure and server administration.

- Network Administration skills, including configuration, monitoring, and optimization of network devices and services.

- Network Security capabilities, with an understanding of firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and security hardening practices.

- Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing system and network issues and implementing effective resolutions.

- Ability to document configurations and procedures clearly and maintain accurate technical records.

- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible) is beneficial.

- Relevant certifications (such as Linux+, RHCSA, CCNA, or similar) are a plus.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative team environment.
