Job Title: IP Head (Patent, Trademark & Copyright) – Remote, India

Job Type: Full-time (Remote)

Location: India (Remote), with travel as required

Reports to: Management, Jitendra Intellectual Property

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the Company's Intellectual Property portfolio across Patent, Trademark, and Copyright practice areas.
2. Handle client enquiries end-to-end — from initial contact through to conversion, ensuring timely and qualified responses.
3. Draft patent specifications, trademark applications, copyright filings, legal correspondence, responses to office actions/examination reports, and related IP documentation.
4. Manage the commercial aspects of the IP practice, including preparing quotations, fee proposals, and pricing strategies for clients and associates.
5. Advise clients on IP protection strategy, registration, renewals, assignments, oppositions, appeals, and enforcement matters.
6. Liaise with foreign associates, law firms, and IP offices across jurisdictions to coordinate filings and prosecution.
7. Review and ensure the quality, accuracy, and legal soundness of all drafted documents before submission.
8. Support business development by identifying new client opportunities and contributing to the Company's growth targets.
9. Coordinate with internal teams (trademark, patent, and support staff)



to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of client matters.
10. Stay current with developments in IP law, regulations, and industry trends across relevant jurisdictions.
11. Prepare and present periodic reports to Management on portfolio status, enquiry conversions, and department performance.

Job Requirements:

- Proven experience in IP practice covering patents, trademarks, and copyrights, including drafting and prosecution
- Strong understanding of the commercial/business side of IP services (quotations, client acquisition, fee structuring)
- Excellent drafting and legal writing skills
- Strong client-facing and negotiation skills
- Must hold a valid passport and be available to travel as and when required (for client meetings, IP office visits, and business development across jurisdictions)
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Science, Engineering, or a related field; a professional qualification in IP law is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters independently

Work Arrangement: This is a remote position based in India. The candidate must be available for domestic and international travel as required by business needs, including client meetings, IP office visits, and Company-related engagements. A valid passport is mandatory at the time of joining.
