About Us

We're a pre-seed startup building a wealth app. We're currently in the product-building phase. The team is four people - IVY league MBAs and IIT. Everyone works remotely and independently, with a few regular syncs and minimal supervision.

The Role

You'll be our in-house investment brain. You'll own how we evaluate and recommend mutual funds, and you'll spend the rest of your time with users and the go-to-market effort. Alongside this, you'll qualify as the SEBI-registered Investment Adviser (RIA) for the firm, with the exam costs covered by us.

This is a small team at an early stage, so your work will shape the product and the company directly.

What You'll Do

Investment Research (~50%, your core scope)

- Help analyse and evaluate mutual funds across categories, covering performance, risk, portfolio quality, fund manager track record, costs and consistency
- Help build and maintain a explicit, repeatable framework for shortlisting and recommending funds
- Turn research into plain-language recommendations that everyday investors can understand
- Monitor recommended funds and flag changes that matter
- Clear the NISM Investment Adviser exams (Series X-A and X-B), fully funded by the company

Advisory & Go-to-Market (~50%, shared with the whole team)

- Talk to prospective users to understand how they invest,



what they struggle with and what they need
- Help improve user acquisition and engagement metrics in the app through experiments, content, outreach and feedback loops
- Bring user insights back into product and research decisions
- This is not an insurance or mutual fund sales role. The focus is understanding investors better and helping us build something they actually want to use.

Who You Are

- You've graduated or cleared CFA Level 2. The RIA exams should feel comfortable, and we'll support your preparation.
- You have a genuine interest in investing fundamentals, mutual funds and personal finance.
- You're a self-starter who is comfortable with a broad activity list and little hand-holding.
- You're curious about user behaviour and unafraid of talking to strangers.
- Fundamental Excel skills, prior experience in equity or fund research, or an interest in fintech and startups will be a plus.

Compensation & Commitment

Compensation: Depends on your contribution, time availability and other commitments. If you have an expected range, please mention it in your application, and we'll discuss it after the interviews. Internship salary would be different than Full time.

Location: Remote for internship period (India), if convert to Full time - Bengaluru

Duration / time commitment during part time / internship: 6 months, 25 hrs/week, post qualification full time role
