- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities across the infrastructure sector, with a particular focus on the highways / roads segment.
- Conduct detailed financial, commercial and operational analysis of potential investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain complex, dynamic financial models covering project cash flows, debt structures, returns, sensitivities and various investment scenarios.
- Undertake valuation analysis and assess investment returns, downside risks and key investment assumptions.
- Coordinate and work with lenders and financing institutions for arranging project finance and evaluating debt structures.
- Lead / support financial and commercial due diligence of investment opportunities, working with internal teams and external advisors.
- Analyse project documentation, concession agreements, financial statements, operating metrics and other relevant information to assess investment viability.
- Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for consideration by the Investment Committee.
- Support the Investment team through transaction execution, including coordination with legal, technical, financial and other external advisors.
- Track and monitor portfolio investments post-investment,
including financial performance, operational developments, debt servicing and key project milestones.
- Conduct sector and market research to identify emerging trends, investment opportunities and key risks within infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain investment and portfolio analysis for periodic review by senior management.
Candidate Profile
- CA – First Attempt, preferably a Rank Holder, or MBA from a top-tier B-School.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in the infrastructure sector.
- Experience in the highways / roads segment will be strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure projects, project finance and investment evaluation.
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling, valuation and financial analysis.
- Exposure to working with lenders / financial institutions on project finance transactions will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to independently analyse complex investment opportunities and present findings clearly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
