Position : Interoperability Architect

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Hyderabad / Chennai / Mumbai / Bangalore / Noida / Pune (2-days from Office)

Work timings: 3pm to 12am IST(Due to US project, based on project need)

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Architect (Interoperability Architect) with extensive experience in healthcare interoperability, FHIR-based architecture, and HL7 integrations. The role involves defining the target-state interoperability architecture, establishing integration standards, evaluating FHIR platform capabilities, and providing architectural leadership for enterprise healthcare transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and govern the target-state healthcare interoperability architecture aligned with business and technology goals.
- Define enterprise integration patterns, API strategies, and interoperability frameworks.
- Evaluate and recommend FHIR platform capabilities, architecture blueprints, and implementation approaches.
- Establish architecture standards, design principles, and best practices for interoperability solutions. Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development and implementation teams.
- Oversee integration design involving HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, X12, CDA, APIs, and messaging technologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects,



and engineering teams to ensure scalable and secure integration solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technology evaluations.
- Drive governance, compliance, and alignment with healthcare interoperability standards.
- Support modernization initiatives involving EMR/EHR systems and healthcare data exchange platforms.

Required Experience & Skills:

- 11-13 years of experience in healthcare IT, enterprise architecture, or integration architecture.
- Robust expertise in FHIR Architecture & HL7 Interfaces (Primary Skill).
- Deep understanding of FHIR resources, implementation guides, SMART on FHIR, and API-led connectivity.
- Experience designing enterprise integration architectures using HL7, X12, CDA, REST APIs, and middleware platforms.
- Knowledge of healthcare ecosystems including payer, provider, and healthcare technology organizations.
- Experience with cloud-native integration and interoperability platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management, architecture governance, and solution design capabilities.
- Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
