Role Description The Interior Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed interior drawings, layouts, and construction documentation for commercial projects. This full-time, on-site role in Gurugram involves translating conceptual designs into exact CAD drawings, coordinating with architects, designers, engineers, and project managers, and updating drawings based on feedback and site conditions.

The Interior

Draughtsman will ensure that all drawings comply with relevant standards, building codes, and project specifications, and will assist in material take-offs and basic quantity estimates. The role includes maintaining organized drawing files, supporting design revisions,



and collaborating closely with the project team to meet timelines and quality expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong technical drafting skills using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and the ability to produce accurate plans, sections, and elevations.
- Knowledge of interior design detailing, furniture layouts, finishes, and basic building services coordination within interior spaces.
- Understanding of relevant building codes, industry standards, and best practices in commercial workplace interiors.
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings, and integrate interior requirements within existing building frameworks.
- Good spatial visualization, attention to detail, and capability to convert conceptual sketches into clear working drawings.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with designers, architects, engineers, contractors, and site teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office or similar tools for documentation, reports, and basic data management.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, with prior drafting experience preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and an interest in resource-efficient solutions in interior projects is an advantage.
