Company Description Kea Design Labs is a architecture and interior design practice focused on creating environments that are aesthetically refined, functional, and centered on human experience. Founded in 2020 by architects Jeffrey Jeeroy and Chinar Edwankar, the studio is driven by a passion for meaningful, lasting spatial design.

The team integrates materiality, craftsmanship, technology, and sustainability to deliver projects ranging from residential interiors, retail or commercial interiors and architecture projects. Role Description The Interior Designer will work in our Mumbai studio in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with architects and designers to develop interiors that align with project goals and user needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing interior design schemes, preparing layouts, detailed drawings, and material palettes, and coordinating FF&E; selections that balance aesthetics, function, and budget.

The role involves conducting site visits, liaising with contractors and vendors, and supporting project coordination from design development through execution.





The Interior

Designer will participate in client and site meetings, translate feedback into design refinements, and ensure that all interior elements adhere to quality, sustainability, and design standards established by Kea Design Labs.

Qualifications

I

- nterior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to develop functional, human-centered layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and construction processes, including integration of interiors within broader project contexts.
- Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and documentation for execution and coordination with project teams.
- Experience in FF&E; selection, including finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment that support the design intent.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Robust visual, technical, and material understanding, with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and interact with clients, vendors, and contractors.

- Interest in sustainable design practices and emerging technologies in architecture and interiors.
