**Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead the design of assigned commercial interior projects independently — from client brief and concept development through to final technical drawing package.
- Prepare and present design concepts to clients — mood boards, space plans, material palettes, and 3D visualisations — with the ability to handle client feedback and revisions professionally.
- Develop full design development packages — detailed layouts, elevations, ceiling plans, furniture plans, and finish schedules — to a buildable standard.
- Prepare or supervise preparation of construction drawing packages — coordinated, dimensioned, and annotated to a standard that can be handed over directly to the site team.
- Manage material and product specifications — select materials aligned to design intent, client budget, and procurement lead times.
- Coordinate with the project manager, procurement, and MEP teams during design development — resolve clashes and ensure design intent is buildable within budget.
- Manage design revisions end-to-end — track all client feedback, update drawings accordingly, and maintain a transparent version log.
- Brief and guide junior designers on assigned projects — review their work and ensure it meets the quality standard before submission.
- Maintain a current knowledge of material trends, product innovations, and design best practices in commercial interiors.
- Support BD presentations and pitches with concept inputs and design references where required.

budget, buildability, and client preference simultaneously.

- Clients often change their minds after approving a design — managing revisions gracefully while protecting the design integrity and timeline is a constant challenge.
- Technical drawings must be execution-ready, not just presentation-quality — a beautiful rendered plan that can't be built is a failure, not a success.
- Coordinating design with procurement and MEP realities mid-project requires flexibility without losing the design intent.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- 4–8 years in commercial interior design — independently managing projects from concept to technical handover.
- Strong portfolio of office, co-working, retail, or enterprise interior projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max or Enscape, and Adobe Suite.
- Ability to produce complete construction drawing packages independently.
- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
