Better Works Hr is looking for a Business Development Manager for – Architect & Designer Sales

We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to build strong relationships with architects, interior designers and design studios, identify project opportunities and drive B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities

Build and manage relationships with architects, interior designers and design studios

Identify live and upcoming residential, hospitality and commercial projects

Conduct product presentations and introduce Space of Joy’s bespoke wallpaper and wall décor solutions

Work towards getting products specified at the design stage

Manage projects from initial discussion through quotation, negotiation and order closure

Develop key architect/designer accounts and generate repeat business

Maintain a healthy project pipeline and accurate CRM records

Coordinate with design, production, installation and internal teams

Achieve monthly and quarterly B2B sales targets

Share market,



competitor and project intelligence with management

Ideal Candidate

4–5 years of B2B/project sales experience

Existing network of architects and interior designers strongly preferred

Experience in specification-led or premium interior/building-material categories

Strong relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills

Comfortable managing long sales cycles and closing business

Disciplined with follow-ups, CRM and pipeline management

- Presentable, professional and comfortable travelling across Mumbai for meetings

Candidates from wallpapers, furnishings, furniture, lighting, tiles, surfaces, sanitaryware, flooring, modular kitchens, luxury home décor or architectural products are especially relevant.

Most important: Solid architect relationships combined with commercial ownership.
