Role Description This full-time, on-site Intensivist role is based at Anandam Hospitals in Bhopal. The Intensivist will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex medical and surgical conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient rounds, reviewing diagnostic results, adjusting treatment plans, and coordinating care with specialists such as pulmonologists, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing teams.

The role involves performing and supervising advanced procedures, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, monitoring patient progress, and responding promptly to emergencies. The Intensivist will also participate in multidisciplinary case discussions,



support critical care nursing staff, communicate clearly with patient families and caregivers, and contribute to quality improvement and infection control initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine to manage a wide range of complex and life-threatening conditions.
- Clinical exposure or expertise in Pulmonology for the management of severe respiratory illnesses and ventilated patients.
- Relevant experience in Anesthesiology, including perioperative care and hemodynamic management in critically ill patients.
- Ability to collaborate closely with Critical Care Nursing teams and support evidence-based ICU protocols and patient safety practices.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with MD/DNB or equivalent specialization in Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Pulmonology, or Critical Care Medicine.
- Valid medical registration/license and compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated skills in emergency response, advanced life support, and ICU procedures (e.g., intubation, central line placement, ventilator management).
- Strong clinical judgment, clear communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient-centered care, continuous learning, and participation in audits or quality improvement activities.
