- Manage general maintenance activities related to instrumentation on a daily basis and take corrective actions if necessary, on site for Reclaimer, Raw Mill, Bag House area and Hopper building area circuit
- Resolve instrument utility complaints regarding AC, UPS, telephone & DTH system in plant & colony
- Ensure availability of air conditioning system in all sub stations offices of plant admin block, guest house, school, hospital, club house & all residential blocks of colony
Instrumentation Maintenance - Plant DCS, Networking, interfacing, Plant MIS & Telephone (Select section as applicable)
- Ensure availability of internal telephone system of plant & colony
- Monitor working condition and health of all the installed DP/PA loop in plant and also to check there ring redundancy by manually switching between DP/PA coupler
- Ensure health of all the machines like plant servers, ems server, engineering stations, operating stations, PHIS machine by visual inspection and manage fault log checking
- Ensure availability of machines as per the production plan & carry out maintenance activities for the shift
- Manage maintenance in the Section/ shift and ensure adherence to daily checklist as per the preventive maintenance guidelines defined
- Execute corrective and predictive maintenance projects for higher availability of equipment
- Supervise indirect contractual staff workers and provide support to Section Head to maximize shift productivity
- Implement defined process improvement initiatives, monitor performance of the machines in the shift and escalating key issues to section Head
- Prepare and provide daily health status of machines, maintain log files record, housekeeping audit score and coordinate with CMD for internal system reports
- Ensure proper usage of safety equipment in the plant and ensure regulatory and legal compliance to health, safety and environment norms (ISO standards.)
- Complete and fulfil all statuary requirement like CEMS systems to govt authorities
- Ensure Calibrations of systems and instruments as PM schedule and requirements
- Ensure the physical condition of field instruments & if any abnormality found then correct the same
- Identify Energy saving initiative and implement them along with Shift operations
- Effective shift handling with Zero breakdown and zero accident
