About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Institutional Back Office Manager – Operations to manage end-to-end post-trade operational activities for institutional clients. The role involves trade processing, settlement coordination, client servicing, regulatory compliance, reconciliation, and seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Operations & Settlement

- Handle end-to-end institutional trade processing and settlement activities.
- Ensure accurate execution, confirmation, and allocation of institutional trades.
- Coordinate with custodians, clearing members, exchanges, and depositories for smooth settlements.
- Monitor settlement obligations and resolve settlement-related discrepancies within stipulated timelines.

Reconciliation & Reporting

- Perform daily reconciliation of trades, funds, securities, and DP holdings.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to trade settlements, brokerage, institutional transactions, and operational metrics.
- Identify and rectify breaks and discrepancies promptly.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the point of contact for institutional clients regarding operational queries.
- Coordinate with dealers, relationship managers, custodians, fund houses, and counterparties.
- Ensure timely resolution of client issues and operational escalations.

Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure adherence to SEBI, NSE, BSE, and Depository regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation, audit records, and operational controls.




- Monitor operational risks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Process Improvement

- Develop and streamline operational processes to improve turnaround time and service quality.
- Support automation initiatives and operational excellence projects.
- Assist the management team in operational audits and compliance reviews.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Institutional Operations, Back Office Operations, or Capital Market Operations.
- Strong knowledge of institutional trade life cycle, settlements, custodian operations, and reconciliation.
- Good understanding of NSE/BSE operations, Depository processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in MS Excel and operational reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

- NISM Certifications will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Stock Broking, Institutional Broking, PMS, AIF, or Wealth Management operations preferred.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
