Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

Job Summary

The Junior Industrial Engineer/Industrial Engineer Trainee will support productivity improvement initiatives by analyzing production processes, optimizing manpower utilization, reducing waste, improving efficiency, and implementing continuous improvement projects within the printing and packaging manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct time and motion studies to improve productivity and process efficiency.
- Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Monitor machine utilization, line balancing, and manpower efficiency.
- Assist in implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement activities.
- Study material flow and optimize layout for better operational efficiency.
- Support capacity planning and production scheduling activities.
- Track wastage, downtime, and rejection data and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production,



Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams for process improvements.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Support cost-saving and productivity enhancement projects.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts.
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of production processes in printing and packaging is preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:
- Solid Works, AutoCad
- Familiarity with carton packaging, rigid box, folding carton, offset printing, or converting processes.
- Knowledge of OEE, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
- Exposure to ERP systems will be an added advantage.

- Process optimization and continuous improvement projects.

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
