Responsibilities

- Design green field plant layouts and utility layouts following compliance regulations.

- Carry out ergonomic analysis and provide improvised solutions for assembly activities.

- Design and optimize internal material flow, storage, and line-side part presentation.

- Implement standardized work concepts and optimize material packaging.

- Reduce lead times and waste through Value Stream Mapping and Lean Six Sigma tools.

- Perform line balancing for capacity enhancements and new product introductions.

- Conduct Time & Motion and MOST studies to optimize assembly line processes.

Must Have Competencies

- Expert knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering principles.

- Proficiency in conducting Time & Motion and MOST studies for assembly lines.





- Expertise in Green Field Plant Design and Layout Planning for single-piece flow.

- Skil in executing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Value Stream Mapping.

Positive to Have Competencies

- Certification in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

- Competence in Ergonomics Analysis and improvised solution design.

- Ability to design and optimize internal material flow and part presentation.

- Experience in establishing shop floor manpower planning policies and procedures.

Experience and Qualifications

- B.E/B.Tech/MBA in industrial engineering or a related field.

- 4 to 7 years of experience in Industrial Engineering within the automotive industry.
