Job Summary

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer – Costing to support garment costing, production feasibility, process analysis, and efficiency improvement activities. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in garment manufacturing and good knowledge of IE costing methods.

Responsibilities

- Prepare garment costing based on SAM/SMV and manufacturing processes.
- Analyze garment operations and prepare operation-wise costing details.
- Calculate and analyze thread consumption and other process requirements.
- Conduct production and style feasibility analysis.
- Study garment construction and manufacturing operations for accurate costing.
- Prepare and maintain IE-related reports and costing data.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Technical, and other relevant teams.
- Support new style development and production planning activities.
- Identify opportunities for improving productivity and reducing manufacturing costs.




- Maintain accurate records and reports related to costing and IE activities.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Apparel Technology, Textile Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in garment/apparel manufacturing.
- Valuable knowledge of garment costing, SAM, and SMV.
- Knowledge of thread consumption and operation breakdown.
- Understanding of garment manufacturing processes and production feasibility.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Experience in knit garment manufacturing is preferred.
