Role Description The Industrial Automation Trainer will deliver classroom and lab-based training on industrial automation technologies to learners at various skill levels. This full-time, in office role is located in Baleswar and involves preparing lesson plans, training materials, and demonstrations using PLCs, SCADA systems, HMIs, drives, and related tools. The trainer will conduct practical sessions, guide participants through real-time industrial projects, and assess learner performance through assignments, tests, and evaluations.

Responsibilities include updating course content to align with current industry standards, maintaining training equipment, and providing technical guidance and mentoring to learners.



The role may also involve supporting placement activities, coordinating with corporate partners for training needs, and contributing to workshops and seminars organized by IPCS GLOBAL BHUBANESWAR.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and practical experience in industrial automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, VFDs, and related control systems.
- Ability to design and deliver structured technical training programs, including lesson planning, curriculum development, and hands-on lab sessions.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting automation hardware and software, interpreting electrical and control diagrams, and implementing industrial control solutions.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learner groups.
- Experience mentoring or teaching students or professionals in a technical domain, preferably in industrial automation or related engineering fields.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline; relevant certifications in automation tools are an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in a lab or industrial-like environment, with a focus on safety, equipment care, and professional conduct.
- Familiarity with industry standards and emerging technologies in automation and building management systems; willingness to continuously update skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use standard office and training software for documentation, reporting, and content preparation.
