Role Description The Ice Cream Scooper will provide friendly, efficient service to guests by preparing and serving ice cream and related desserts in a clean, welcoming environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting customers, explaining menu options, scooping and portioning ice cream, preparing toppings and simple dessert items, and operating the point-of-sale system to handle cash and digital payments accurately.

The role also involves maintaining hygiene standards, restocking supplies,



cleaning service areas, and supporting team members during busy periods. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, requiring availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a positive, welcoming experience for guests.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers and coordinating with team members.
- Basic Food Preparation skills and an understanding of hygiene and safety standards in a food service environment.
- Accurate Cash Handling skills, including operating a POS system and managing cash and digital transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as scooping, lifting, and cleaning.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a cooperative approach to working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Prior experience in food service or retail is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided.
