We are looking for an experienced MEP Design Engineer – HVAC with 1–4 years of experience in the HVAC industry. The candidate should have practical experience in HVAC system design, preparation of drawings, equipment selection and coordination with project/site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare HVAC design layouts, shop drawings and working drawings.
- Design HVAC systems for commercial, residential, industrial and other projects.
- Prepare HVAC load calculations and equipment selection.
- Work on Chiller, VRF/VRV, Ductable and Split AC systems.
- Prepare ducting layouts, chilled water piping layouts and refrigerant piping layouts.
- Calculate duct sizes, pipe sizes and pressure requirements.
- Prepare BOQ, material take-off and technical specifications.
- Coordinate HVAC drawings with Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and Architectural teams.
- Review drawings and resolve design-related issues during project execution.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project teams for proper implementation of designs.
- Assist in preparing technical submissions, shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective and suitable for site execution.
- Conduct site visits when required.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of HVAC and MEP design.
- Experience with Chiller and VRF systems will be preferred.
- Knowledge of ducting and chilled-water piping design.
- Knowledge of HVAC load calculation and equipment selection.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP / HAP / DuctSizer will be an advantage.
- Valuable understanding of HVAC drawings and BOQ.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
Qualification B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification.
Preferred Experience
- 1–4 years of experience in HVAC/MEP Design.
- Candidates having Chiller project experience will be preferred.
- Experience in commercial, industrial or large-scale HVAC projects is an advantage.
Salary : As Industry Norms Pay: ₹11,443.36 - ₹45,616.52 per month
