Position : House Keeping Executive

Property: Flora Misty Falls, Athirappilly

Flora Hospitality Group is looking for a Housekeeping Executive to oversee daily housekeeping operations and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, guest comfort, and service quality across the property.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and staff facilities are maintained to required standards.
- Ensure guest rooms are cleaned, inspected, and released on time as per occupancy and Front Office requirements.
- Allocate daily duties to housekeeping team members and monitor productivity, grooming, attendance, and work performance.
- Conduct regular room and public-area inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Ensure compliance with housekeeping SOPs, cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Coordinate closely with Front Office regarding room status, check-ins, check-outs, VIP arrivals, special requests, and room discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Maintenance/Engineering for room defects, maintenance issues, and timely rectification.
- Monitor and maintain linen, amenities, cleaning materials, chemicals, and housekeeping supplies, including proper stock control.
- Ensure proper handling and documentation of Lost & Found items as per company procedures.




- Monitor guest requests and housekeeping-related complaints, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Support staff training, job orientation, SOP implementation, and on-the-job coaching to improve team performance.
- Prepare and maintain required daily housekeeping reports, checklists, inventory records, and inspection reports.
- Monitor departmental KRA/KPI performance and identify areas requiring improvement or additional training.
- Ensure proper coordination during special events, high-occupancy periods, VIP stays, and operational requirements.
- Promote a strong culture of guest service, teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail within the housekeeping department.

Requirements:

- Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Hotel/Resort Housekeeping is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, SOPs, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Good communication, coordination, leadership, and team-handling skills.
- Ability to supervise daily operations and maintain quality and cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and manage operational requirements effectively.
- Guest-focused approach with solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
