Role Description The Home Health Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for providing compassionate clinical care to patients in a home setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patient health status, administering medications and treatments as directed, and monitoring vital signs and symptoms. The role involves delivering personalized home care services, such as wound care, basic medical procedures, and coordination of care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Nurse will educate patients and families on care plans,



promote safety and hygiene in the home environment, and maintain accurate, timely documentation of all nursing interventions. This role also requires collaborating with the academy’s training team by adhering to best practices and contributing to a high standard of patient care.

Qualifications

- Solid Nursing skills with experience in clinical assessment and implementation of care plans.

- Solid understanding of Medicine, including basic pharmacology, common conditions, and treatment protocols.

- Proficiency in Home Care practices, including in-home monitoring, patient education, and safety management.

- Experience in Patient Care, focusing on comfort, dignity, and culturally sensitive communication.

- Competence in Wound Care, including cleaning, dressing, infection prevention, and monitoring healing.

- Recognized nursing qualification (e.g., GNM, B.Sc Nursing, or equivalent) and valid nursing registration as per local regulations.

- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple patients or visits.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients, families, and medical teams.

- Basic documentation and reporting skills, with attention to detail and adherence to clinical protocols.

- Prior experience in home health or community nursing is an advantage.
