Role

We are looking for an experienced HL7 Engineer to develop and support healthcare interoperability solutions connecting EMR/EHR and clinical systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in healthcare interoperability, HL7 v2 messaging, EMR/EHR integrations, MLLP, and healthcare integration engines.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and support HL7 v2.x interfaces including ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, and MDM.
- Implement MLLP-based integrations and interface workflows.
- Integrate Epic, eClinicalWorks, and other EMR/EHR systems.
- Perform HL7 mapping, transformation, testing, troubleshooting,



and production support.
- Work with integration engines such as Mirth, Rhapsody, or Cloverleaf.
- Collaborate with healthcare, engineering, QA, and product teams.

Required Skills

- 4–8 years of experience in HL7/Healthcare Integration.
- Robust knowledge of HL7 v2.x and MLLP.
- Hands-on EMR/EHR integration experience.
- Experience with Epic/eClinicalWorks is preferred.
- Knowledge of FHIR, REST APIs, JSON/XML, SQL, and healthcare workflows.
- Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data security.
