NWe are seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Educator to support the academic development of student-athletes. This role requires robust communication skills, the ability to integrate English instruction with athletic schedules, and a commitment to helping athletes excel both academically and in their respective sports. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering literacy skills, critical thinking, and effective communication in student-athletes while ensuring their educational success.

NKey Responsibilities

- Teach English Language and Literature for Grades 10–12 across multiple educational boards but a small group.
N
- Prepare students for board-level assessments.
N
- Design and deliver English communication and public speaking modules, tailored to the needs of IIS athletes.
N
- Classify athletes basedon proficiency and create structured sessions accordingly.
N
- Focus on qualitative and quantitative outcomes in communication skill-building
N
- Contribute to the IIS Newsletter – content creation, editing, and mentoring
N
- Guide and prepare athletes for debates, media engagements, emceeing, and other institutional events
N

nCollaboration & Integration

- Coordinate with coaches, sports science staff and academic staff to align communication training with athlete development
N
- Collaborate with academic team members to ensure consistency in content delivery and student tracking
N
- Work with event and media teams for smooth planning and representation of athletes in IIS activities
N




- Contribute to interdisciplinary sessions and life skill modules that involve communication, leadership, or presentation skills

- Fluency in English and Hindi (spoken and written)

nRequirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Literature, or Communication

- B.Ed. (mandatory for teaching under school board curricula)

- Prior experience teaching in school setup

- Demonstrated ability tocreate structured, outcome-oriented communication modules suited for the IIS environment

nPreferred Qualifications

- 2–4 years of teaching or communication training experience
N
- Freshers with strong communication skills and the ability to meet role expectations are also welcome
N
- Experience in speech training, debates, creative writing, or co-curricular mentoring is a plus
N
- Comfort with blended/hybrid instruction and performance-based evaluation methods
