Position Summary The Manager – High Voltage System Operations & Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the protected, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant's high-voltage electrical infrastructure.

This role oversees 230 KV substations, power distribution systems, transformers,

switchgear, protection systems, and utility interfaces to ensure uninterrupted power supply supporting manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

- Manage the operation and maintenance of HV electrical systems, including
- substations, transformers, switchgear, and distribution networks.
- Ensure 24x7 reliability and availability of the electrical power distribution system.
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
- programs.
- Monitor electrical system performance, load distribution, and power quality.
- Lead troubleshooting and restoration efforts during power disturbances and
- equipment failures.
- Establish emergency response procedures for electrical system outages.

Reliability & Asset Management

- Conduct equipment condition assessments and reliability analyses.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for electrical failures and implement corrective
- actions.
- Manage spare parts inventory and critical equipment replacement plans.




- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve system reliability and reduce
- downtime.

Safety & Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with all electrical safety regulations, statutory requirements,
- and company EHS standards.
- Implement and enforce Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and
- electrical safety procedures.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drills.
- Ensure compliance with utility and electrical board requirements.

Project & Engineering Management

- Lead electrical infrastructure expansion, upgrade, and modernization projects.
- Review technical designs, specifications, and contractor deliverables.
- Support commissioning and startup activities for new facilities and equipment.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and contractor performance.

Energy Management

- Monitor power consumption and energy e?iciency performance.
- Identify opportunities for energy optimization and cost reduction.
- Coordinate with utility providers regarding power supply reliability and capacity
- planning.
- Support sustainability and renewable energy initiatives where applicable.

Team Leadership

- Lead a team of electrical engineers, supervisors, and technicians both from TEPL
- and IFM company
- Develop technical competencies and succession plans.
- Establish performance objectives and drive a culture of operational excellence.
- Ensure adequate staffing and capability for round-the-clock operations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Master's Degree is preferred.

Experience

- 12 to 20 years of experience in electrical operations and maintenance.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing HV systems.
- Experience in large manufacturing facilities such as Semiconductor, Electronics,
- Automotive, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Steel, or FMCG industries.
