Role Description The Highway Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. The role involves planning and designing highways and roadways, including geometric layouts, alignments, and pavement design in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.

The engineer will prepare and review design drawings, technical reports, and specifications, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and compliant designs. Daily responsibilities include analyzing traffic data, assessing site conditions, and developing design solutions for drainage,



intersections, and safety features. The role also includes supporting project management activities, participating in design review meetings, and providing technical input during tendering and construction phases.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Highway Design and Highway Engineering, including knowledge of design standards and codes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Roadway Design and Transportation Planning for effective alignment, capacity, and safety analysis.
- Candidates should possess skills in Drainage Design, including stormwater management and roadway drainage systems.
- Proficiency in relevant design and CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools) and familiarity with modeling and analysis software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; a master’s degree in transportation or highway engineering is an added advantage.
- Need MX Road Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience with Indian road design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements; prior experience on highway or infrastructure projects is preferred.
