Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment management, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, construction, aerospace, or related sectors.

Job Purpose The HSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental programs to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies. The role focuses on creating a safe working environment, minimizing workplace risks, preventing incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety Management

- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations.
- Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and report HSE performance metrics and trends.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Promote employee awareness of health and safety requirements.

Environmental Management

- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
- Monitor waste management, emissions, energy consumption, and environmental impacts.
- Implement environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct environmental audits and assessments.
- Maintain records and reports required by regulatory authorities.

Training & Awareness

- Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
- Conduct safety inductions for current employees.
- Organize safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.




- Foster a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.

Audit & Compliance

- Plan and conduct internal HSE audits.
- Coordinate external audits and inspections.
- Track and close corrective and preventive actions.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with department managers to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, customers, and external auditors.
- Support leadership in achieving HSE objectives and targets.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications as applicable to HSE.
- Knowledge of applicable HSE regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE reporting systems.

- Employee safety training completion rate.

Preferred Experience

- Experience managing HSE programs in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, engineering, or industrial operations.
- Experience leading safety committees and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to regulatory audits and customer compliance requirements.
