Role & Responsibilities

- Provide academic and administrative leadership for the Primary Section.
- Ensure effective implementation of the school curriculum and age-appropriate teaching-learning practices.
- Supervise, mentor and evaluate primary-section teachers and support staff.
- Monitor students’ academic progress, discipline, attendance and overall well-being.
- Plan and oversee assessments, academic programmes, co-curricular activities and school events for the Primary Section.
- Maintain high standards of classroom teaching, lesson planning, assessment and student engagement.
- Work closely with parents to address academic, behavioural and developmental concerns.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, CISCE requirements and applicable educational regulations.
- Maintain appropriate academic and administrative records and provide regular reports to the School Administration.
- Promote a secure, inclusive, disciplined and child-centred learning environment.
- Coordinate with the Principal and senior management on academic planning,



staffing and operational matters.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate/Postgraduate with B.Ed./D.El.Ed; additional qualifications in education/leadership will be an advantage.
- 15–20 years of relevant teaching and academic leadership experience, preferably in a reputed ICSE/CISCE school.
- Proven experience in managing a Primary Section or equivalent academic responsibility.
- Strong understanding of primary education, curriculum planning, assessment and child development.
- Demonstrated leadership, team-management and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, teachers and parents.
- Strong organisational and administrative capabilities, with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Proficiency in using computer applications, digital tools and school management/academic platforms.
- A firm yet empathetic approach to student discipline and staff management.
