Maharaja & Speedex India Limited is a vertically integrated manufacturer and marketer of stainless steel consumer products, headquartered in New Delhi with a heritage dating back to 2006. Over nearly two decades, the Company has evolved from a pure trading business into a manufacturing-led enterprise with a growing pan-India brand presence across retail, institutional, and digital channels.

The Company operates under two well-recognised consumer brands - Speedex and Dewdrop - and also undertakes OEM and private-label manufacturing for institutional and third-party clients. Its product portfolio spans everyday, premium, and lifestyle segments, reaching consumers through approximately 120 distributors spread across 17 States and 2 Union Territories, as well as major e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms.

POSITION SUMMARY The Production Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing and overseeing all production activities at the Barota manufacturing facility. The incumbent will be accountable for driving production efficiency, ensuring consistent output quality, and meeting daily and monthly manufacturing targets. This role serves as the primary point of accountability for shop-floor execution-ensuring production schedules are adhered to, resources are optimally deployed, and quality standards are upheld across all product lines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Management

· Oversee and manage day-to-day production activities on the shop floor to ensure consistent output, efficiency, and adherence to daily production targets.

· Coordinate with the planning team to align production schedules with sales requirements and ensure zero delay in order fulfillment.





· Plan and optimize end-to-end production workflows-from raw material inflow to final packing-ensuring targets are met without compromising quality.

· Implement and manage all manufacturing-related systems, including Lean practices (5S, Kaizen), to eliminate waste and reduce cycle times.

· Support capacity planning initiatives and coordinate with relevant teams for machinery maintenance, upgrades, and new equipment commissioning.

· Ensure high Customer Ratings by meeting all Quality and Delivery targets consistently.

Financials & Cost Control

· Monitor and control production costs by minimizing waste, rejection rates, and rework, contributing to the plant’s overall cost reduction objectives.

· Execute cost reduction initiatives on the shop floor by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing corrective actions.

· Track and optimize key operational metrics, including throughput, rejection rates, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

Supply Chain & Coordination

· Collaborate closely with Supply Chain Management to maintain minimum and maximum stock levels, ensuring uninterrupted raw material supply.

· Maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers, brainstorming ideas to improve overall operations.

· Drive regular interaction with PPC, HR, Admin, Maintenance, Quality, and Materials teams to eliminate any communication gaps.

Team Leadership & Manpower Planning





· Supervise and guide the production team to ensure every member is clear on their daily responsibilities, targets, and performance expectations.

· Ensure only approved (sanctioned) manpower is utilized relative to plant capacity across all functions.

· Implement multi-skilling programs within the management team to build a strong, system-oriented organization.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

· Drive workplace safety by conducting appropriate risk assessments and maintaining strict method statements.

· Drive a culture of continuous improvement through regular shop-floor audits and root cause analysis (RCA) of production stoppages.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

- B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7–10 years of manufacturing experience, with a significant portion in leading production team.
- Prior experience with a Tier-1 automotive supplier to OEMs is essential. Exposure to sheet metal manufacturing, metal forming, or steel fabrication is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing a production team and achieving measurable improvements in output, rejection rates, and on-time delivery.
- Highly organized approach with a strict commitment to the timeliness of all operations.
- Strong command of production planning tools, ERP systems, and high proficiency in MS Excel for daily reporting.
- Excellent leadership and conflict-resolution skills, with solid written and verbal communication in Hindi and English.

Other Details

Salary Range: ₹60,000 - ₹750,000 per month (Based on Interview Performance)

Work Mode: Onsite, 6 Days a Week
