The Head of Manufacturing is responsible for leading, strategizing, and overseeing the end-to-end production operations across its automated manufacturing facilities. The position ensures maximum operational efficiency, stringent regulatory compliance (Ayush, FDA, WHO-GMP), cost optimization, and seamless scale-up of new high-speed automated production lines.

- Production & Operational Excellence

- Drive Output: Oversee daily production schedules across OTC, Women's Hygiene, and beverage plants to meet market demands.
- Automation Management: Manage high-speed, fully automated manufacturing and packaging machinery (e.g., automated liquid filling, diaper/sanitary pad machines).
- Lean Implementation: Deploy Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to minimize downtime and eliminate waste.
- Capacity Expansion: Lead execution and commissioning for new facility setups and line capacity expansions.

2. Quality, Compliance & Safety
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full compliance with WHO-GMP, ISO 9001, HACCP, Ayush department norms, and local pollution control laws.
- Quality Assurance: Partner with the Quality Control (QC) team to eliminate batch failures, minimize market complaints, and oversee raw material validation in SAP.
- EHS Leadership: Enforce strict Workplace, Health, and Safety (EHS)



protocols to achieve a zero-accident workplace standard.

3. Cost Control & Supply Chain Integration
- Budget Accountability: Control the plant operating budget (OPEX/CAPEX) and reduce the cost of production.
- Material Management: Sync closely with procurement and corporate supply chain teams to maintain optimal raw/packing material levels and reduce variances.

4. Team Leadership & Development
- Workforce Management: Direct a large cross-functional team across Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality assurance.
- Skill Building: Up-skill shop-floor technicians and operators regarding safety guidelines and advanced machinery handling.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

- Education: B.E. in Mechanical, or B.Pharm
- Experience: 15 years of experience in the FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or Hygiene (Sanitary/Diaper) industries in handling overall plant operations.

Technical Skills:
- In-depth understanding of automated machinery calibration, PLC systems, and packaging lines.
- Working knowledge of SAP ERP (Production Planning & Quality Management modules).
- Sound knowledge of Ayurvedic/Pharma regulatory frameworks and GMP documentation standards.
