Role Description The Head of Finance and Accounting is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations, including the preparation of financial statements, management of general ledger activities, and coordination of month-end and year-end closing processes.

The Head of Finance and Accounting will lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, monitor cash flow, and ensure accurate financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. The role includes implementing and maintaining robust internal controls, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, and managing relationships with auditors, banks, and other financial partners.



The person in this role will mentor and manage the finance team, optimize systems and processes, and provide regular financial insights and analysis to senior management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge and proven experience in financial management and strategy.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Candidates should possess solid Budgeting skills, including planning, monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and support business decisions.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business are highly beneficial.
- Experience in leading finance and accounting teams, with robust people management and mentoring capabilities.
- Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
