Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical HOD to lead mechanical maintenance activities at our Lanjigarh location. The role will be responsible for maintenance planning, equipment reliability, manpower management, shutdown activities, safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead mechanical maintenance planning, scheduling and resource management.
- Ensure compliance with Preventive Maintenance (PM), CBM and shutdown maintenance schedules.
- Monitor equipment availability, maintenance performance and KPIs.
- Lead RCA & CAPA for critical breakdowns, production losses and recurring failures.
- Drive reliability improvement initiatives to improve MTBF and reduce MTTR.
- Manage manpower, MHE, tools, spares and other maintenance resources.
- Ensure implementation of SOP/SMP, HSE and quality standards.




- Coordinate with Operations and other departments for smooth plant operation.
- Lead shutdown planning and execution.
- Drive 5S, Kaizen, training and skill development initiatives.

Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 16 - 20 years of relevant experience in a large process industry.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience.
- Robust knowledge of refinery/mechanical equipment and maintenance activities.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in maintenance planning, reliability improvement and shutdown management.
