Role Summary

Indira University is seeking an experienced and dynamic academic leader for the position of Head of Department (HOD) for the MBA Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Management program under the School of Pharmacy. The role requires strong academic leadership, research orientation, and the ability to build industry linkages and drive program growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide academic and administrative leadership to the department.
- Plan, design, and implement curriculum aligned with industry and regulatory standards.
- Lead and mentor faculty members to enhance teaching, research, and academic outcomes.
- Drive research initiatives and contribute to publications in reputed journals.
- Develop and strengthen industry collaborations for internships, live projects, and placements.
- Ensure compliance with UGC, AICTE, and PCI norms.
- Monitor academic quality, student performance, and overall program effectiveness.
- Lead accreditation, audits, and institutional development initiatives.




- Promote cutting-edge teaching methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
- Manage departmental operations including budgeting, planning, and reporting.

Educational Qualification

- Ph.D. in Management / Pharmaceutical Management / Pharmacy / Allied Discipline.
- MBA in Pharmaceutical Management / Healthcare Management / relevant specialization.
- Qualifications must be as per UGC / AICTE / PCI norms.

Preferred Profile

- Prior experience as HOD / Program Head / Academic Leader.
- Strong publication record in reputed journals.
- Industry exposure in the Pharmaceutical / Healthcare sector will be an advantage.
- Proven track record in placements, industry collaboration, and academic development.
