Role Summary We are seeking a forward-thinking IT leader to ensure the smooth operation, security, and efficiency of our technology infrastructure. You will roll up your sleeves to build our IT foundation from the ground up, manage both cloud and on-premises environments, and shape our infrastructure strategy as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Infrastructure & Cloud Management: Architect, set up, and manage on-premises and cloud-based services, virtualization environments, and high-performance computing (HPC) systems. Monitor system performance, server health, and resource utilization.

- Information Security: Establish and enforce comprehensive data protection, privacy, and information security policies. Manage firewalls, monitor security logs for early breach detection, and implement robust disaster recovery and backup solutions.

- Endpoint & Asset Management: Standardize and manage the lifecycle of all company hardware and software assets (laptops, desktops, mobile devices). Implement device security policies, including encryption and mobile device management (MDM).

- Remote Access & Networking:



Configure and manage secure remote access solutions, VPNs, MFA, and enforce compliance with remote work and BYOD policies.

- IT Operations & Support: Administer Google Workspace (user accounts, Drive, Meet, email management), manage the IT helpdesk and SLAs, and provide technical support to employees.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5–8 years of experience in IT administration, infrastructure, and cloud computing in a hands-on technical role.

- Demonstrated expertise in managing Linux/Windows servers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and HPC or compute cluster setups.

- Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2), and endpoint management solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune).

- Experience with Google Workspace administration and secure remote access tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in aerospace, automotive, defense, or any IP-sensitive engineering setting.

- Exposure to containerization best practices, managing server deployments, internal tooling etc.

- Comfortable operating without a playbook; this role requires building from scratch and strong independent problem-solving skills.

- Exposure to security policies and protocols for responsible AI/ML usage.
