JOB PURPOSE

This position at the Sector level will be responsible for monitoring the Landside and Terminal Safety of all GMR airports through development of standards, audits, training, monitoring dashboards etc. with end objective of achieving incident free airport operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators Creation of Terminal Safety and Compliance framework (ConOps, Internal and external SLA, SOP, KPI/ KPA) etc. % improvement in composite safety score. Enhanced safety management

Contribute to enhancement of safety management processes and procedures

- Monthly network meetings
- Safety incidents reduction

Number of initiatives in safety management across airports. Safety audit planning and implementation

- % adherence to the schedule

Safety Culture at Terminal and Landside: Model and promote an organizational culture that fosters safety practices (regulatory practices and rules, standard operations procedures, compliance monitoring…)

- SOP framework
- Safety Promotion activities

- Engagement initiatives and effectiveness.

Information gateway: Act as an information conduit to bring any safety issues to the attention of management and to deliver safety information to the organization’s staff,



contractors and stakeholders.

Coordinate and spur risk assessments by the assets and track the mitigation measures. Maintaining current safety dashboard of individual airports Provide and articulate information regarding safety issues within the organization (findings, KPI, actions plan, standardization) Periodicity of deliverable Promote innovation in safety process Number of innovation initiatives

IT follow up projects Conduct Cross-functional Safety audits/reviews Number of CFT audits conducted Monitoring of SMS compliance and implementation for various airport assets Discrepancies identified and resolved

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate Engineer preferably with experience in Safety
