Key Responsibilities – Hand Embroidery & Khakha Making

- Execute hand embroidery and Khakha making for cushion covers, curtains, bedcovers, throws, runners, table linen, upholstery fabrics, wall panels, and other home furnishing products.

- Prepare Khakha (design tracing/marking) accurately as per approved artwork, design, measurements, and specifications.

- Transfer embroidery motifs, patterns, borders, layouts, and design placements onto different types of fabrics.

- Read and understand embroidery artwork, drawings, samples, measurements, and placement instructions.

- Ensure accurate design placement, symmetry, alignment, sizing, and repeat patterns while preparing Khakha.

- Carry out hand embroidery as per the approved Khakha, design, sample, and quality standards.

- Work with different embroidery techniques using threads, zari, beads, sequins, pearls, cutdana, mirrors, cords, and other decorative materials.

- Handle different furnishing fabrics including cotton, linen, velvet, silk, blends, and other premium fabrics.

- Ensure proper tension, neatness, stitch quality,



and finishing, particularly on large fabric panels.

- Check Khakha and embroidery work for incorrect placement, uneven marking, design mismatch, loose threads, uneven stitches, and other defects.

- Correct Khakha and embroidery-related errors before proceeding to production.

- Coordinate with the Design, Sampling, Production, and Quality teams for design development and execution.

- Assist in developing current Khakha designs, embroidery samples, motifs, and techniques for home furnishing collections.

- Complete assigned Khakha and embroidery work within the required production timelines.

- Handle fabrics, Khakha materials, embroidery threads, and other accessories carefully to minimize damage and wastage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Education

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Required)

Experience

- Hand Embroidery : 10 years (Required)
