Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and support Guidewire applications using Gosu.

- Implement and maintain Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter functionalities.

- Develop integrations between Guidewire applications and external systems using SOAP/REST web services.

- Create and modify configurations, workflows, data models, screens, rules, and business processes.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Guidewire development best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and application defects.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and deployment activities.

- Support application upgrades and Guidewire version migrations.

- Develop technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer when required.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter.

- Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter.

- Proficiency in Gosu Programming Language.

- Experience with Guidewire configuration components:

- PCF (Page Configuration Files)

- Typelists

- Data Model Extensions

- Rules Engine

- Workflows

- Validation Rules

- Experience with Guidewire Integration Framework.

- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance processes.





- Experience in developing and consuming REST/SOAP Web Services.

- Knowledge of SQL databases and data modeling concepts.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Preferred Skills

- Guidewire Cloud Platform experience.

- Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter.

- Guidewire ACE Certification(s).

- Knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies.

- Experience with messaging and integration tools such as Kafka, MQ, or MuleSoft.

- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization within Guidewire applications.

- Experience in Guidewire upgrades and data migration projects.

- Exposure to test automation frameworks and quality engineering practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- 4+ years of experience in Guidewire development.

- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter implementations.

- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

- Guidewire ACE Certified Developer.

- Exposure to Insurance Digital Transformation programs.

- Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed teams.
