Reports To: Restaurant Manager / F&B; Manager / Supervisor
Job Summary The Guest Service Associate – F&B; is responsible for providing efficient, courteous, and professional food and beverage service to guests while maintaining the hotel’s service and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally.
- Set up the restaurant, tables, buffet, and service areas as per hotel standards.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve them promptly.
- Explain menu items and assist guests with their selections when required.
- Ensure proper and timely service of food and beverages.
- Transparent and reset tables efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant and service areas.
- Coordinate with the Kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and report issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure correct billing and assist with bill settlement when required.
- Maintain proper stock of service items such as cutlery, crockery, glassware, and other F&B; supplies.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, fire safety, and hotel SOPs.
- Maintain proper grooming and professional appearance at all times.
- Assist in buffet setup, replenishment, and closing procedures.
- Minimize food and service wastage.
- Support colleagues and work as part of the F&B; team.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the F&B; Manager or Supervisor.

- Good grooming and personal hygiene.
- Ability to work under pressure and in shifts.
- Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems is an advantage.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification.
- Freshers may be considered.
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant will be an advantage.
